Work Parties We achieved a lot in the two sessions on 30 March and 13 April, and although there is still work to do to make everything ready for opening we are definitely on the home straight.  Thanks are due to all those who came along. ​ At the second session we had a visit from local MP Taleeb Noormohamed, who was able to see at first hand the newly renovated and upgraded washrooms.  That work was achieved with a New Horizons grant - one of a number of applications which Mr Noormohamed and his predecessor as MP have supported in recent years.  During his visit he several times commented on the club's input to community involvement, and the social benefits of our activity.   ​ The picture here also shows club president Peter Cheong holding the cheque which essentially pays for the washroom upgrade.
