SHORT MAT BOWLS

Sessions are on Tuesday at 1:30 pm, Friday 10:00 am and Sunday at 10:00 (please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance, to allow time to pick teams, etc)

$2 per session
Non members pay $50 for the season as a winter membership fee
Slippers or stocking soles to protect the mats
Coffee, tea & cookies mid way through the session

We are one of only a few clubs in the Lower Mainland with the facilities to play Short Mat. The game uses the same principles as outdoor lawn bowls, even down to using regular-size bowls, but the skillsets are slightly different. There are are a number of videos on the web but the best way to find out about it is of course to come along and try it - it's a lot of fun and there is plenty of camaraderie. Come on, give it a go!
